Password Verification

The following parameters determine the platform settings for verifying passwords.

VFAllowManualVerification
Description Whether or not a password verification process can be initiated manually in the PVWA interface. This configuration is relevant only to group member platforms.

Description Whether or not password verification tasks will be performed.

VFPerformPeriodicVerification
Description Whether or not a password verification process will be performed automatically according to the number of days specified in the VFVerificationPeriod parameter.

VFVerificationPeriod
Description The number of days between automatic password verification processes.
Acceptable Values Number greater than ‘0’

VFFromHour, VFToHour
Description The time frame in hours during which the CPM can verify passwords, either manually or automatically. This is useful, for instance, if the organization only wishes to allow password verification processes during the night.
This parameter is not relevant if the platform will be applied to a member of an account group.

Description Whether or not to display the code numbers of the errors that are returned from the password verification tasks.

Description Whether or not to display the errors which lead to automatic reconciliation.

VFReconcileWhenUnsynched
Description Whether or not the CPM will automatically reconcile passwords when they are not synchronized.

VFExecutionDays
Description The days of the week when the CPM will verify passwords.
The days of the week are represented by the first 3 letters of their names. Sunday is represented by Sun, Monday by Mon, etc.
