Add a new user to the system and to applications

You can quickly add a new user to your directory service, and then assign the user to roles to assign the user to applications. The identity platform creates the new account in the provisioned applications automatically.

The basic process of provisioning users involves adding the user in your directory service, then assign the user to roles, as needed.

  • For each application that the user needs access to, assign the user to a role that’s assigned to that application.
  • For non-provisioned applications, you may also need to create the user account in the web application itself (each application varies).
