Ephemeral secrets in Conjur Cloud

We're thrilled to announce that now you can work with ephemeral secrets in Conjur Cloud!

Ephemeral secrets are dynamic secrets that are created just-in-time (JIT), on-demand, and exist for a limited period of time. When an ephemeral secret's validity expires, the secret is deleted or becomes obsolete. For more information, see Ephemeral (dynamic) secrets.

Conjur Cloud Edge supports JWT authentication, even when working offline!

We are happy to share that Edge now supports both offline and local JWT-based authentication. Using the JWT Authenticator, any workload that can serve a JSON Web Token (JWT) can now authenticate to Edge. For more information about JWT authentication in Conjur Cloud, see Authenticate JWT.

Support for multiple Conjur Cloud Edge instances

We are happy to announce that Conjur Cloud now supports multiple Edge instances!

With this new capability, in addition to running Edge instances in different locations in the customer data centers, customers can benefit from high availability to the Edge component when running them behind a load balancer.

After you have added Edge to Conjur Cloud, you can view all of your Edge instances and their statuses in Conjur Cloud in the Edge management page.

Conjur Cloud Edge Docker support

In addition to Edge Podman deployments, we are happy to announce that Edge can now also be deployed in a Docker container!

Integrate your workloads with Conjur Cloud faster than ever before!

We are happy to announce that you can now create new workloads from the Workload Creation wizard in the Conjur Cloud UI, so you can get started without needing to loading policies!

Using the wizard, you can define a workload and grant it access to Safes in Conjur Cloud in a matter of minutes.

General availability support for Conjur Cloud Edge

We are happy to announce that Conjur Cloud Edge (Edge) is now generally available.

Edge is a self-hosted lightweight extension for Conjur Cloud. Edge can be deployed closer to client applications to lower network latency, and provide high availability and scalability.

When working locally with Edge, organizations can limit their data center access to the cloud.

In addition, with Edge, workloads can retrieve secrets even when disconnected from the cloud.

Download Edge from the CyberArk Marketplace.

Then, in Conjur Cloud, go to the Install Conjur Cloud Edge page to install Edge.
