Uninstall the Conjur Cloud CLI

This topic describes how to uninstall the Conjur Cloud CLI.

  1. Log out of the Conjur Cloud CLI.

  2. Remove ~/.conjurrc.

  3. Remove the conjur executable.

  4. Remove the path to the folder containing the conjur executable from your system's PATH environment variable.

  1. Log out of the Conjur Cloud CLI.

  2. Remove %HOMEPATH%/.conjurrc.

  3. Remove the conjur executable:

    • If the executable is in /usr/local/bin, remove it by running rm /usr/local/bin/conjur.

    • If the executable was added to your path in your system's RC file, remove it by editing your system's RC file.

      For example, if the executable was added to your machine's default bashrc, edit the .bashrc file:

      1. Remove the line that saves the Conjur Cloud CLI to your system's path. Change:

         

        PATH="/home/<user>/conjurcloudcli-rhel<RHEL version>-Rls-v1.1.0:<other-system-paths>:$PATH"

        to

         

        PATH="<other-system-paths>:$PATH"

      2. Save and close the file.
  1. Log out of the Conjur Cloud CLI.

  2. Remove ~/.conjurrc.

  3. Remove the ConjurCloudCLI application from your Applications folder.

  4. Remove the ConjurCloudCLI folder from your system's PATH environment variable by editing your system's RC file. 

    For example, if the folder was added to your use machine's default bashrc, edit the .bashrc file as follows:

    1. Remove the line from the .bashrc file that saves the Conjur Cloud CLI to your system's path. Change:

       

      PATH=/Applications/ConjurCloudCLI.app/Contents/Resources/conjur:<other-system-paths>:$PATH

      to

       

      PATH=<other-system-paths>:$PATH

    2. Save and close the file.
