Connection Component Configuration

This topic describes generic connection parameters common to all connection components. Each connection component may have unique parameters specific to that connection component.

Connection component parameter types

The connections for privileged sessions performed through the PSM can be configured in the PVWA. Each connection is defined by the following types of parameters:

Parameter	Description
Root	These parameters specify generic settings of the PSM connection component. For details, see Root Parameters.
Component parameters	Parameters that define PSM connections and how each connection behaves. For details, see Component parameters.
User parameters	Parameters that define the information users are required to supply while initiating a PSM connection. For details, see User Parameters.
Target settings	Parameters that define target machines for each connection. For details, see Target Settings.
