Manage Safes
This topic describes how to edit Safe properties or delete a Safe in the PVWA. This topic also describes the required authorizations a user must have to perform these actions.
Required authorizations to manage Safes
To update Safe properties or delete a Safe, you must have the relevant following authorization(s) in the Vault:

Edit Safe properties
Users who have the Manage Safe authorization in the Vault can change Safe properties.
Safes that are created in the PVWA are based on default properties. Users who have the Manage Safe permission in the Safe can modify some of the Safe properties in the PVWA. Other properties can be changed in the PrivateArk Administrative Client. For more information about the default Safe properties, see Default Safe properties. |
To edit Safe properties:
- In the Safes list, select the relevant Safe.
- In the Safe properties pane, click Edit.

Change the Safe properties that you want, and then click Save.

Delete a Safe
Users who have the Manage Safe authorization in the Vault can delete a Safe.

To delete a Safe:
- In the Safes list, select the relevant Safe.
- In the Safe properties pane, click Delete.

Click Delete to confirm that you want to delete the Safe and all of its contents.
