Add additional attributes for applications
This topic describes how to create additional attributes for admin-added applications and specify the corresponding values to an attribute for each admin-added application.
For example, if you need to search for applications with licenses expiring within a certain period, you can create a new attribute called LicenseExpiry
from the Customization page or directly within the application. Then, assign a date and time value to indicate when the license will expire.

Go to Settings > Customization > Additional Attributes > Applications> Add.

Enter a Name for the attribute.

Select the attribute Type from the drop-down list.

Description
Text Allows any string.
Number Allows numbers with decimals.
Boolean Results in a drop-down list for the attribute value. For example, True or False.
Date and Time Results in a date and time picker for the attribute value.
- (Optional) Enter a Description for the attribute.
- Click Add. The new attribute displays on the Additional Attributes page.

Go to Web Apps > Application Settings > Additional Attributes > Add.

Enter a Name for the attribute or select an existing attribute.

Select the attribute Type from the drop-down list.
- Enter a Value for an attribute based on the attribute type you selected above.
- (Optional) Enter a Description for the attribute.
- Click Add. The new attribute displays on the Additional Attributes page.

Define an existing application attribute

Go to Web Apps > select any application. The Application Settings appears.

Click Additional Attributes > Add.

From the Name drop-down, select an existing attribute.
- Enter a Value based on the attribute type.
For example, a boolean (True/False) attribute type will have a drop-down list, while a Text attribute type allows any string.
- Click Add.
