System requirements and supported browsers

This topic lists browsers and versions tested with CyberArk Identity portals (Identity Administration portal, User Portal, and User Behavior Analytics) and the Browser Extension.

All portals were designed for a browser window width of 1366 pixels or higher. If your browser window is less than 1366 pixels you will see horizontal scroll bars.

For silent authentication to work correctly, some web browsers need additional configuration (see Configure browsers for silent authentication) or a browser extension (see Manage credentials with Workforce Password Management).

On devices, the CyberArk Identity mobile app opens the web applications in the native browser unless that application requires a browser extension to provide single sign-on. For these applications only, the CyberArk Identity mobile app opens the application in its built-in browser.

You can enroll the following devices in CyberArk Identity. See the following topics for more information about the purpose of device enrollment.

The purpose of the cloud agents is to enforce authentication profiles. The cloud agents are only active during authentication. Language support

Foreign language support is provided for the following components, unless otherwise noted:

  • User Portal text strings
  • Identity Administration portal text strings
  • Documentation - CyberArk Identity User Portal content and partial Identity Administration portal content -- English and Japanese only

Not all of the languages listed below are available for all of the Identity Administration portal text strings.

Administrators can select a default language for UI text and system messages. The default setting, (--), is equivalent to not setting a language. In this case, the user's browser language selection is used.

If users select a different language in their User Portal, then that language takes precedence. For example, if you set the language to French in the Identity Administration portal and a user sets the language to Vietnamese in the User Portal, then Vietnamese is used for that user. Users can select a language in User Portal > Account > Personal Profile > Language drop-down list.

To configure the language option in the Identity Administration portal:

  1. Sign-in to the Identity Administration portal.

  2. Go to Core Services> Policies , then select the relevant policy.

  3. Click User Security Policies > User Account Settings.

  4. Select the default language in the Default Language drop-down list, then click Save.

The default language matches the user's browser setting if you do not select a language here.

In this release, we support the following languages:

  • Arabic

  • German

  • English

  • Spanish

  • French

  • Italian

  • Japanese

  • Korean

  • Dutch

  • Polish

Polish support is currently available for the User Portal, CyberArk Identity mobile app (iOS and Android), the authentication widget, and email templates.

  • Portuguese - Brazil

  • Portuguese

  • Russian

  • Serbian

  • Swedish

  • Thai

  • Vietnamese

  • Chinese - Simplified

  • Chinese - Traditional
