Outbound provisioning

This topic describes automatically creating and removing user accounts in provisioning-enabled web applications by scheduling or manually running outbound provisioning jobs.

When you run a user synchronization, CyberArk Identity takes the user attribute information in the source directory and adds or updates the user account in the provisioned application. CyberArk Identity automatically synchronizes user, group, contact, or resource information whenever you make changes to a role or applicable source directory object. CyberArk Identity can synchronize user accounts from Active Directory, LDAP, the CyberArk Cloud Directory, or any combination of those sources.

To manually start a provisioning job you must be in the System Administrator role or in a role with the Application Management administrative right.
