Enterprise Password Vault

This topic describes how to install the Enterprise Password Vault

1. Install the CyberArk Enterprise Password Vault, taking into account all the considerations and requirements explained in detail in the Privileged Access Security docs. If the Vault has already been installed in your environment, skip this step.

2. Install the Central Policy Manager (CPM) that will manage automatic password changes for passwords stored in the Password Vault.

3. Install the Password Vault Web Access (PVWA) which enables users to define applications and create, request, access and manage privileged passwords throughout the enterprise through a unique web interface. For a high-availability or load-balancing implementation you can install multiple PVWAs.
